FG Declares Monday, December 12th As Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Monday, December 12th, 2016 as public holiday to mark the Eid-el Maulud celebration.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.) in a statement signed by the acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido,.

The Minister called on all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians in general to cooperate and join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari, towards building a strong, united and peaceful nation.

He equally urged all Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace across the nation.
