  3. Of what value is the study of JLS 711 to a post graduate student of Mass Communication?                                                                         15 Marks
  4. What do you understand by Headline Writing in Journalism?  Summarise the Art of

Headline Writing in news reporting.                                                           15 Marks

  1.  Certain elements distinguish a good journalistic writing from bad ones.  Identify eight

(8) of these journalistic elements and briefly discuss each of them.          16 Marks

  1. Write briefly on the following:
    • Defamation
    • News Peg
    • Editing and Proof reading Symbols
