b)      List three examples of thermosets polymers and their industrial applications.    (7 marks)
 
4a)       Enumerate five agents of degradation and likely susceptible polymers.                        (10marks)
b)       Define polymer degradation and enumerate types of polymer degradation.        (7 marks)
 
5a)         Outline six properties of polyurethane                                                                         (6 marks)
b)       With equations show how polyurethane can be synthesized                              (7marks)
c)       Explain rubber elasticity                                                                                    (4 marks)
 
6 a)      Define copolymerization                                                                                   (3 marks)
b)      State any five advantages of copolymerization                                                            (5marks)
c)      Discuss in detail with structural examples type of copolymers                           (9marks)
