The Institute of Ethics and Humanitarian Studies (IEHS) at Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) has announced admission into its postgraduate programmes. Sales of application forms began on 1 November 2026.
The institute offers programmes in Humanitarian Ethics and Culture and Societal Ethics at Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) levels.
Admission requirements
Ph.D. programmes
Applicants must hold a relevant M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent qualification from a recognised university. The stated minimum is “2.88 of 3.5” or an average B grade.
M.Sc. programmes
Applicants must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower Division from a recognised university.
Candidates with a Third Class degree or equivalent may be considered if they hold a relevant Postgraduate Diploma and meet the university’s approved admission requirements.
Postgraduate Diploma programmes
Applicants must hold a good relevant Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of Third Class, from a recognised university or a Higher National Diploma with at least Lower Credit.

Application fee and procedure
The non-refundable application fee is ₦25,000.00 or $50 for international applicants.

- Upload the required credentials and submit the application form online.
- Print the completed application form for personal records.
- Print hard copies of all application documents submitted online.
