3b. List the major criteria used in classification of sheep and goats (5 Marks)
4a. What do you understand by Oestrus (2Marks)
4b. Adamu went on a visit to a cattle ranch and he was asked to identify the cows on heat. What are the signs Adamu should look out for to enable him identify such cows (8 Marks)
4c. The farmer informed Adamu that he has flushed his cows two weeks ago. What are the advantages of such a management practice to the farmer. (5 Marks)
5. Explain fully the observable signs of good health in farm animals (10 mks)
5b. Mrs Stella wants to set up a sheep and goat handling unit on her farm. Advise her on the necessary features to incorporate in the unit for the holding pen to be adequate. ( 5 marks)
