Prisonization is the process of accepting the culture and social life of prison society. It is basically when newly prisoners come to accept their new life styles inside of the prison. It can cause problems within the prison because when people start to get comfortable with a life style then usually they start to think highly of themselves and feel that they can become someone important and try to do things to other inmates to make then fear that person or it can start fights within the prisons between inmates.
