GRASAG Pays A Courtesy Call On The Ghana High Commissioner To Nigeria

A delegation of National Executives from the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) visited and paid a courtesy call on the Ghana High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency William Azumah Awinador-Kanyirige on Thursday, December 15.

 

This visit was on the sidelines of the association’s participation in the maiden collegiate conference of the National Association of Nigerian Post-Graduate Students (NANS-POSTGRADS) held on Wednesday, December 14 at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

The delegation were taken on a trip round the facilities and offices of the Ghana High Commission in Abuja and also the Ghana Consulate in Ikeja – Lagos. At the residence of the High Commissioner at Abuja, H.E. Awinador-Kanyirige took time off his busy schedule to engage the delegation in the discussion of pertinent national and international issues, paramount amongst them was to the effect that youth of Ghana and Africa should be up and doing in any capacity they find themselves and also cautioning chiefs and people in other traditional authorities to eschew active partisan politics since they are the last resort of conflict resolution if political administration fails.
