1) Writing the critical article is demanding and a major test of the critic’s abilities, however, for the critic to succeed in his /her write up, there are key requisite steps that must be considered. Discuss (25 marks)
2) Expound on the prerequisite for effective critical thinking and how it shares common
ground / skills with critical writing (15 marks)
3) Expatiate on how critical writing shares affinity and differences with other forms of journalistic writing (15 marks)
4) A critic is not necessarily a reviewer, a reviewer is not necessarily a critic because each has a rightful place and they really are quite different breeds of cat. Discuss (15 marks)
5) It is invaluable for a critical writer to understand that writing reflects personality and this has to do with style. Discuss what is involved in developing your own style (15 marks)
6) What six ways can you make a book complete and interesting? (15 marks)
