2biv     A man takes 15 minutes for a journey if he travels at 20km. per hour. How long will    the journey take if he travels at 50km. per hour?                                           4marks

3bii.   The electrical resistance of a wire varies inversely as the square of its radius. Given that the resistance is 0.4 ohms when the radius is 0.3cm, find the resistance when radius is 0.45cm.                                   3marks

3ci.    Solve  for x in the equation 9x  +  5   +  3x  =  26 – 6x  –  3   5marks

4b.   In a market survey within Jos, it was discovered that within Ahmadu Bello Way, 8 exercise books and 14 biros cost N150. However at Rayfield, 10 exercise books and 12 biros cost N144. Determine the price of a biro and an exercise book.                                                                                                                 6marks

4c. Solve the following quadratic equation:
