The MTN Foundation Scholarship is part of MTN’s community service to Nigerian. This scholarship is awarded to 2nd year students of Nigerian tertiary institutions in selected courses as given by MTN. Students of Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and universities are eligible to apply. Usually, an essay writing on a chosen topic relating to telecommunication is part of the application process.
The scholarship, which is worth N200,000 per year, is renewed every year until graduation for existing awardees provided they have maintained a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit) while new applications, when advertised, are welcome from full time students in their second year of study.
