Two final year students of the Pope John Senior High School in Koforidua have been suspended for engaging in homosexual activities on campus, Graphic Online has learnt.
They were said to have been caught in the act by some students who later reported them to the authorities.
The two during a disciplinary committee investigation were said to have confessed to engaging in the act.
Confirming the incident to Graphic Online, a staff of the school said 20 students were initially hurled before the disciplinary committee when the matter was reported.
According to the source, during the investigation, the suspected students pointed fingers at the two as being the initiators of the act and subsequently the two were suspended indefinitely.
When Graphic Online contacted the headmistress of the school, Benedicta Foli, she declined to comment on the matter and said it was an internal issue.
