The Director of Institute of Environmental and Sanitation Studies at the University of Ghana, Professor Chris Gordon bas been honoured at the National Honours and Awards Day held at the Accra International Conference Centre, on Saturday, 29th October 2016
He received Member of the Order of the Volta (Civil Division) award on the day.
The award was bestowed on Prof. Gordon by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Prof. Gordon was honoured in recognition of his contribution towards national development through mentorship, education, research and policy preparation over the past 30 years as well as his roles in the international environment and climate arenas. He received a citation and a medal.
