2.      (a) Identify and discuss five occupations that rural population engaged in.(10mrks)
(b) What do you understand by fertility rate? (2mrks)
(c) Enumerate three reasons why the rural people reproduce at higher rate than the urban people. (3mrks)
(d)  In Nigeria people like to migrate from rural area to urban area. Discuss (10mrks)
 
3.      (a) What do you understand by voluntary associations? (5mrks)
(b) Mention five characteristics of associations. (5mrks)
(c) Briefly discuss four merits of voluntary association to members of the society. (10mrks)
(d) What do you understand by nucleated and dispersed settlement patterns? (5mrks)
 
4.      (a) Explain the concept of  agricultural system (5mrks)
(b) Define tree crop farming. (5mrks)
(c)  Write short notes on the following terms :(i) Monogamy (ii) Polygamy (iii) Polyandry (iv) Exogamy (d)Endogamy. (15mrks)
 
5.      (a)Identify and discuss the factors responsible for polygamous marriage in Nigeria. (12mrks)
(b) Define economic institutions. (3mrks)
(c) Enumerate four basic factors of economics institution and discuss three of them. (10mrks)
 
6.      What do you understand by  any five of the following terms:
(a)    Non formal education;
(b)   Shifting cultivation;
(c)    Democratic leadership;
(d)   Characteristics  of a good  leadership; and
(e)   Social stratification;
(f)     Migration.(5 marks each x 5 = 25mrks)
