The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) is set to begin investigations into an allegation that investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas does not pay contributions for his Tiger Eye PI staff.
The complaint filed at SSNIT by embattled judge Justice Paul Uuter Dery in October this year, claims that the famous Ghanaian journalist is breaking the law by refusing to pay the contributions of staff of his investigative firm over the years.
A response to the complaint intercepted by StarrFMonline.com, SSNIT said “ We hereby acknowledge receipt with thanks your letter dated 30th October 2016 under the above subject.
“Your complaint will be investigated to ensure any appropriate action to be taken”.
Justice Dery and Anas have been at loggerheads following the massive investigative piece by the journalist and his investigative team that led to the dismissal of some 32 judges for various acts of corruption.
Meanwhile, some of the culprits are challenging their dismissal.
