1.     a.    What is an Argumentative Essay? Explain the six steps you should take when
writing an argumentative essay.
b.    What is an Expository Essay? Identify and discuss four methods in which one can
engage in expository writing.
c.    Write a Narrative Essay of not more than 200 words on the topic: My Role Model

2.  a.    What is a paragraph? Identify and discuss the seven types of paragraphs there are.
b.    With copius examples, explain the five characteristics of a paragraph.

3. a.    Who is a good writer? Identify the five qualities a writer should cultivate in order to
write well.
b.  State the seven methods you should adopt if you want your writing to appeal to
readers.                                                                                                           (34 marks)
 
4.  a.    What is creative writing? Discuss five reasons why we write.
