1.      Discuss the fight for press freedom in Nigeria from 1859 to the present day. Are Nigerian journalists totally free? Justify your opinion. –                         17 Marks
 
2.      Nigerian media are constitutionally empowered to perform their duties. Explain this statement clearly and enumerate ways that they perform this duty.            17 Marks
 
3.      The broadcast media are very important to the country; explain this statement and give reasons why and how the presidency shows particular interest in the establishment of a broadcast medium.                                                         17 Marks
 
4.       How can a democratic government regulate the country’s media and also allow the freedom of the press at the same time?                                             17 Marks
 
5.      Enumerate the four cardinal virtues of a journalist according to Plato. How can Nigerian   journalists apply these virtues successfully in their practice?  17 Marks
 
6.      a. What law can a government apply to guard against unwarranted abuse of citizens’ character?                                                                                                                    7 Marks
