Ogunkomaya Bukola emerged the best graduating student during the ceremony with a CGPA of 4.84. It was learnt the the university has offered the student an automatic employment.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the first University of Education in Nigeria Prof. Oluyemisi who announced the automatic employment, Ogunkomaya would be an asset to the institution.
It was gathered that the University churned out 1,586 full time graduates for 2015/2016, 567 part time graduates of 2014/2015, 86 students of Masters in Education programme and only 22 Postgraduate diploma in Education students graduated.
The University also awarded honourary Doctorate degrees to the medical doctor who prevented the spread of Ebola virus, late Stella Adadevoh and former President and Chairman of Council, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Segun Aina for their contributions to the development of the country.
