Two Nigerian Students Arrested In India For Selling Drugs

BENGALURU: The Bengaluru police have arrested two Nigerian students for allegedly selling cocaine in the city.



The students have been identified as Chinedu Obhali [32] and Sopuruchi Mensah Godwin [30], both living in the Chikkagubbi locality of Bengaluru. They are students of a private college in Chikkagubbi.



Police said the duo were found to be selling cocaine in 10 gm packets to college students and foriegners in Bengaluru. They buy the drug from another Nigerian in Mumbai.



According to the police, the two men came to India on student visas which would expire on September 17, 2017.



A case has been registered against the two students under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Forensic Act and Passport Act.
