The syllabus is intended to provide the basis for the assessment of candidates’ knowledge and skills in Painting and Decorating. It will also provide the standard for evaluating the scope of candidates’ understanding on the socio-economic potentials in Painting and Decorating.

The examination will test candidates’

- skill in Painting and Decorating;
- level of understanding of modern trends in Painting and Decorating;
- knowledge in the ways of applying Painting and Decorative arts to contemporary environments;
- level of aesthetic awareness;
- knowledge of job and wealth creation through Painting and Decorating.
