Woyome runs to Supreme Court to stop Amidu’s cross examination

Embattled businessman, Alfred Woyome, has initiated moves to stop former Attorney-General, Martin Amidu, from cross examining him on Thursday, November 24, 2016, by filing two filing two applications at the Supreme Court.

The NDC financier is first praying to the Supreme Court to review the ruling of the court presided over by Justice Enin Yeboah a week ago.

The Supreme Court Judge had given the green light to Mr. Amidu to orally examine Woyome over matters concerning the GH?51million he received as judgment debt from the government.

Woyome’s second application is a request for a stay of proceedings to enable the court to determine the motion for review.

A member of the NDC legal team, Abraham Amaliba, who confirmed the move to Kasapa 102.5 FM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 said if the request of the embattled businessman is granted, Mr. Amidu’s oral examination “will not come on”.
