b. What differentiates an ordinary thinker from a philosopher?              (23 Marks)

 

2.      Give an account of different agencies that helped in the transmission of Greek philosophy to the Muslims.                                                                                 (23 Marks)

 

3.      Discuss the contributions of Hārūn Rashīd to the growth of Islamic philosophy.  (23 Marks)

4.      Discuss the areas of discrepancies between religion and philosophy.       (24 Marks)

 

5.      Trace the origin of Mutazilizm and discuss three (3) of their fundamental principles.  (23 Marks)
