Silicon Valley-based Oshi Agabi has unveiled a computer based not on silicon but on mice neurons at the TEDGlobal conference in Tanzania. The system has been trained to recognise the smell of explosives and could be used to replace traditional airport security, he said. . Eventually the modem-sized device - dubbed Koniku Kore - could provide the brain for future robots. Agabi is attempting to reverse-engineer biology, which already accomplishes this function with a fraction of the power it would take a silicon-based processor. Kudos to Miss Tioluwani Comfort has joined the list of Nigerian youths who are doing the country proud. She recently bagged the 2017 best graduating student with distinction in Law (LLM) at University of Wales, United Kingdom. Having left Nigeria to pursue her postgraduate studies after a frustrated effort by the incessant strikes that prolonged her stay at the University of Abuja where she got her first degree in law, she made good her decision, excelling with flying colours... Her words: "I attribute my success to the Lord Jesus Christ because nobody receives anything on earth except it be given to him from heaven because in all fairness, I never expected that I would graduate with a distinction in LLM Law let alone graduate as the best student. Romans 9:16: “So then it is not of him
Her name is Monica Tanee. She's a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Portharcourt. She's from Rivers state, OGONI to be precise. She sells smoked Catfish thoroughly washed, sprinkling of salt processed through firewood oven. She's one of the few Nigerian ladies who believes that she needs money to enable her to meet her needs and the way she know she can get it is through hard work. I celebrate your courage dear. This clearly shows that she doesn't feel comfortable seeing some women sitting at home, waiting for a man to open a shop for them or to provide for their basic needs. You're truely an inspiration dear.....God bless you Source: viviangist
