ii. The Diffusionist Theory

2c. Briefly state the factors causing the division of people into groups and societies.

3a. What are the assumptions of behaviorist theory on social change?

3b. Give a short description of five (5) sources of change.

3c.Social changes can be measured through which indicators? (1mark each= 3mark)

4a. Write a short note five (5) on the different types of changes imperative that extension should get acquainted with them rural development projects.

4b. What are the characteristics of the change process?

5a. Attitudes influence behaviour and the analysis of attitudes usually produces a model of behavioural change which is used by extension agents to persuade their clients to behave in a certain way or to adopt innovations disseminated them. Discuss.

5b. Explain how Rural Poverty is created.

5c. What do you understand by resistance to social change?

6a. Define the following terms:

6c. State the key elements when crafting a policy to reduce rural poverty? Write a short note on five (5) key elements.
