4. As a student of Islamic studies, how would you counter the critics on allegations leveled against the Prophet over his marriages and his claim to prophethood?

5. Some Orientalists have criticized the Prophet for his practice of polygamy. As a student of Islamic studies, explain three (3) reasons why the Prophet practiced polygamy.                                                           (23 marks)
