QUESTION1 (23MARKS)
Terrorism is a major global tourism issue. In view of this;
a. List any four (4) previous or recent terrorism events on global tourism.
b. State any four (4) impacts of terrorism on tourism
c. Suggest at least three(3) ways by which destination managers can attract tourist amidst the threats of terrorism.
 
QUESTION2 (23MARKS)
a. A tourist may be described as a person travelling outside of his or her normal routine, either normal living or normal working routine, who spends money. State at least five (5) categories of people that this definition represents.
b. In summarizing the rationale for the growth in global airline alliances, Oum   and Park (1997) identify six forces. Briefly discuss the six forces.
 
QUESTION3 (23MARKS)
a. Tourism consumption expenditures should be identified by a system of main categories. Identify any five (5) of the categories.
b.’Travelling for personal or family-related reasons’ is one of the several definitions of a tourist. In today’s world, there are three problems associated with this definition. Briefly describe the problems, and provide some suggestions to the problems.
